Some New Fixed Point Theorems in Fuzzy Metric Spaces
Motivated by Samet et al. [Nonlinear Anal., 75(4) (2012), 2154-2165], we introduce the notions of $alpha$-$phi$-fuzzy contractive mapping and $beta$-$psi$-fuzzy contractive mapping and prove two theorems which ensure the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for these two types of mappings. The presented theorems extend, generalize and improve the corresponding results given in the literature.
متن کاملSome Fixed Point Theorems in 2-Metric Spaces
The concept of 2-metric space is a natural generalization of the metric space. Initially, it has been investigated by Gähler [3] and has been developed broadly by Gähler [4, 5] and more. After this number of fixed point theorems have been proved for 2-metric spaces by introducing compatible mappings, which are more general than commuting and weakly commuting mappings. Jungck and Rhoades defined...
متن کاملSome fixed point theorems for $C$-class functions in $b$-metric spaces
In this paper, via $C$-class functions, as a new class of functions, a fixed theorem in complete $b$-metric spaces is presented. Moreover, we study some results, which are direct consequences of the main results. In addition, as an application, the existence of a solution of an integral equation is given.
متن کاملSome Fixed Point Theorems on Ordered Metric Spaces and Application
Existence of fixed points in partially ordered sets has been considered recently in 1 , and some generalizations of the result of 1 are given in 2–6 . Also, in 1 some applications to matrix equations are presented, in 3, 4 some applications to periodic boundary value problem and to some particular problems are, respectively, given. Later, in 6 O’Regan and Petruşel gave some existence results fo...
متن کاملA generalization of Kannan and Chatterjea fixed point theorems on complete $b$-metric spaces
In this paper, we give some results on the common fixed point of self-mappings defined on complete $b$-metric spaces. Our results generalize Kannan and Chatterjea fixed point theorems on complete $b$-metric spaces. In particular, we show that two self-mappings satisfying a contraction type inequality have a unique common fixed point. We also give some examples to illustrate the given results.
